I've also seen Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Job, and it's pretty horrible. No point. Tedious anti-humor to the extreme.
But the absolute worst show I've seen on Adult Swim is probably Squidbillies (although it has some tough competition with things like 12 oz. Mouse, Drinky Crow, and Robot Chicken.) So they're making fun of Southern stereotypes? That sort of humor was tired back when Beverly Hillbillies did it. And the characters are Squids... why? Because it's just random and oh-so wacky? I've actually watched a couple episodes, and not only did I never even crack a smile, I couldn't even tell what the jokes were supposed to be.
What's more, they're really pushing this and advertising Squidbillies. They even had an ad running where some guy comes out and acts like he's genuinely surprised that people don't watch the show, and says that it's one of the shows that they're most proud of, and begs viewers to watch it. Then, about a month later, they inserted the show into the time-slots Monday-Friday, plus the original Sunday slot, putting it at 6 nights a week. I hope they're doing this ironically, or else I will have lost all faith in humanity.
And it all just really gives the whole Adult Swim block a bad rep it doesn't entirely deserve. They've made some good shows, namely Space Ghost C2C, Harvey Birdman, The Venture Bros., and The Boondocks.
